The 2006 Gran Reserva Blend contains Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Syrah, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Purple-colored, the nose reveals some new oak, spice cabinet, leather, blackcurrant, and blackberry. Elegant on the palate with good intensity and grip, it should round out with another 2-3 years in the bottle and be at its best from 2012 to 2021.
